As part of the 2010-2011 Red line work plan, CATS/MTC plan to retain consulting services to prepare an updated economic impact analysis of the Red line, according to CATS staff.

 

The previous data contained in the TIGER grant application was compiled in 2007-2008 in a more robust economy and is dated.  The ULI Advisory Panel heard new and adjusted developer estimates of their investment plans over the next 15 years, but that information must be more formally produced for use with any applications for Federal or State funding.

Early and informal developer estimates from five of the nine projected transit stations exceeds $4 Billion, with annual tax revenues of over $30 million, but more complete financial data is needed.
