All 14 members of the North Carolina Congressional Delegation have personally endorsed the I-85 Corridor Bridge project, with letters of support. If North Carolina gets any money at all, it’s clear where the money would go.

This pool of money is referred to the TIGER grant program. According to DC officials, well over $100 billion in grant applications have been filed by the Sept 15 deadline. Applications include a Governor/NC DOT application for $300 million for the replacement of the Yadkin River Bridge, being referred to in DC as the I-85 Corridor Bridge, and $300 million from Charlotte/CATS for $300 million to fund the North Commuter Rail line.
