All Four Towns Back ULI Panel
In a moment of high cooperation, the elected officials of Huntersville, Davidson, Mooresville and Cornelius each have voted unanimously to make $10,000 contributions for the purpose of underwriting an Urban Land Institute panel on economic potentials for the Lake Norman region. The local/national panel format is scheduled for late January, 2010.
“I’m deeply appreciative for the interest and unity our individual elected boards have shown as we take concerted action for our economic future,” said Brian Jenest, chair of the LNTC. “The ULI will assemble experts on land use, transportation and other infrastructure who will collaborate with us in mapping growth strategies,” he said.
